Sid the Kid has $20M Disability DI Policy
One of the greatest hockey players is Sidney Crosby. While he has an obvious knack for putting the puck in the net,
he is also a hard working forward who doesn’t hold anything back in the corners. Unfortuneately other less skilled player know this and it seems, in my opinion, some players look to take advantage of this. Sidney must play with his head up all times.
In the New Years day outdoor game on January 1, 2011, he got hit by a “cheap shot” and had his first head injury. Head injuries are serious in any sport and Sidney continues to be plagued by these mishaps.
One smart play he made early in his career was to buy disability insurance in case he did get injured. Hockey careers can be short-lived in the event of injury, no matter the skill level. Remember Bobby Orr!
Buying a disability insurance policy makes “Sid the Kid”… “Sid the SMART kid”
